For contractors

Do you work for general contractors?

+

Yes, most of our work is for general contractors and builders, and we're happy to be your regular demo sub.

Do you take big, multi-week projects?

On the job

How do you protect the rest of my home?

+

We tape off the rooms we're not working in, put up zip-door dust barriers, protect floors and finishes, and keep dust contained.

Can you work in an occupied home or condo?

+

Yes. We contain dust, protect floors and common areas, and clean up as we go.

Do you haul everything away?

+

Yes. We load and haul it ourselves, so there's no dumpster sitting in your driveway, and we leave a clean site for the next trade. We recycle C&D material where we can.

Will Jeff be on site?

+

Yes. Jeff is on every project, and he's easy to reach while the crew works.

Do you pull the demolition permit?

+

Yes. We handle the required permitting with the county and work with your HOA so the project is approved before equipment shows up.

Can you remove walls?

+

We remove non-load-bearing walls. Structural changes should be designed by an engineer and coordinated with your contractor.

Will you disconnect plumbing?

+

We cap and protect plumbing at the fixtures we remove. New plumbing work should be handled by your plumber.

Can you remove just part of a slab?

+

Yes. We saw-cut for a clean edge and remove only the section you need gone.

Do you pour new concrete?

+

Our focus is removal. We leave a clean base ready for your concrete or landscape contractor.

Do you offer recurring site cleanup?

+

Yes. We can schedule regular cleanups through each phase of your build so debris never piles up.

Do you haul dirt?

+

Yes. We haul dirt and fill from excavation and grading work.

Can you just remove a junk pile or yard debris?

+

Yes. One-time trash, junk and yard debris removal is part of what we do.

Timing

How long does a bathroom take?

+

Most bathrooms take 1 to 2 days, depending on size, tile and access.

How long does a kitchen take?

+

A kitchen with an attached bath usually takes about 4 days.

How long does hardwood floor removal take?

+

Nailed floors go fast. Glued-down floors take longer; a large 2,000+ sq ft glued floor takes about 4 days.

Can you remove glued-down hardwood floors?

+

Yes. We remove nailed and glued-down hardwood, including large 2,000+ sq ft floors. Glued floors take longer, and we'll give you a realistic timeline up front.

Can you demo in winter?

+

Often, yes. Snow and frozen ground change the plan, so we look at access and conditions up front and give you a realistic schedule.

How far out are you booked?

+

It varies with the season. Call or text for the next opening.

Materials & green demo

What happens to my old cabinets?

+

When cabinets come out in good shape, we work with a local reseller in Heber who gives them a second life instead of sending them to the landfill. Ask us about it when you get your quote.

What is deconstruction (green demolition)?

+

It's demolition by hand. The building is taken apart piece by piece so materials can be salvaged, reused or recycled instead of landfilled.

Does green demo cost more?

+

Yes. It's more labor, typically about twice the cost of a standard demo. We'll give you a straight comparison.

Does deconstruction take longer?

+

Usually, yes. It's more labor-intensive than a machine demo. We'll give you a realistic timeline before we start.

What happens to the salvaged materials?

+

Reusable items are set aside and recyclable materials are sorted and taken to recycling. Talk to us about what you want to keep.

Do you recycle?

+

Yes. We recycle C&D material where we can.
